I F Dedication We the members ofthe Annual Staff of Primera High School wish to dedicate this yearbook to our community confronted by a -depressingp situation. Several years past we had the misfortune of losing our wonderful high school building by fire. Since then we have been holding classes in the old Primero High building and the en- vironmenthas been very detrimental to school spirit. During this period many feel our spirit has hit its lowest ebb. To add to this loss of spirit the people of our community were struck at the very source of their subsistence by the abandonment of the Valdez Frederick Coal Mine. A large number of families have left our community to find a means of earning a living elsewhere as a result our enrollment has dropped considerably. One bright ray of hope is appearing rapidly in the form of our beautiful new school building now under construction. The Seniors of 62 hope to be the first class to graduate from this building. We hope many more new rays of hope will appear, which will help everyone in our courageous. community.
