All sudden he hath ceased to sing l-lushed in eternal slumbering, And we make moan that he is gone. Could he speak out, we doubt not he Would turn to us full tenderly, And in the old melodious voice Say: Weep so, without rejoices. DEDICA TION To a man of such deserving great honor we sincerely dedicate this 1959-60 yearbook to Vince Vigil. His death has brought on a morbid loss. He was born May 19, 1929, in Valdez, Colorado, in which he had been a life long resident. He had served our community as scout master for five years and taught three years at Sarcillo and two years at Weston. He attended Trinidad Junior College for two years, then completed his four years at Adam SrateCollege. He received the Award of Merit for being an outstanding student at Adam State College and graduated with a B. A. degree. While serving two years in the United States Army he was an instructor for the Ski Troopers. To a man of high esteem we shall certainly miss his presence and position that he has occupied. His is a place in this community that shall never be filled. The Annual Staff 1959-60
