W1 It is with profound regret that we announce the departure of the well known and highly respected Senior Class of Primero High School. Four years ago we entered P. H. S. as Freshmen, we soon grew familiar with such obstacles as Algebra, General Science, Spanish, American Government, and with some difficulties were able to overcome them. Highlights of our Freshman year was initiation Homecoming, of which we were very happy to submit the first place float, and a Fun Festival sponsored by the class, With much regret we departed and returned after three months of vacation, This being our second year in High School we were more famil- iar with our fellow students, teachers, and surroundings, The Sophomore year wasn't very eventful except that the class went to Canon City on Apple Blossom Day, and had a wonderful time, Our Junior year we were very happy to present our Junior play Green Midnight, The most eventful happening was our Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom, at which the theme The Last Roundup, was carried out. Our last journey into Primero High School was one of much regret as this will be our last one, Our class col- ors are Lavendar and Gold, while our class flower is the Gardenia. Our Motto is The Best Place To Find A Helping Hand Is At The End Of Your Own Arm, We have much to look forward to, Otu Senior Dance, Senior Play, Sneak Day, Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet, In May of 1951 we will no longer be a part of Primero High School, we will be the alumni. This means the close of our happy years of jolly comradship and the beginning of the voyage of our life, May the future hold a million times more prosperity and hap- piness as the past, To you the students and faculty we leave our best wishes, and our Thanks for the four happy years we have spent at Primero High School. It may be that we have erred on the side of restraint in writing this history, so we take this opportunity to say that in our far from humble opinion of the class of 1951 it is the most brilliant and attractive of any class known to history and will be always remembered by the fa- culty of Primero High School, and the people of the- community as That Wonderful Class of 1951. ' We, the class of 1951, do not like to tarry, so it is our request to get down to busi- ness as soon as possible, and so hereby make this our last will and testament. And so in this manner do we dispose of all of our possessions, To the Junior Class, our good freinds Up, we leave any unfinished business, includ- ing debts, also any Seniors we have left behind in our haste. Erna Jean Guarienti leaves to Manuel Gallegos her ability in singing, and to his family she wills a plot in the Trinidad Cemetery, a rifle and one bullet, James Fink would like to will himself to some cute little girl, He lost his 'old one because she didn't have a doll.
