Directing School Affairs A Friendly Advisor Mr. G. W. Miller Principal In this modern age that we live . . . some¬ times called the jet age or the space age . . . the complexities of our society are many, yet we should ever place emphasis upon the most vital element of our existence, the individual. In our education circle here at Price, the lab¬ oratories, the gymnasium, the shops, and the beautiful campus do not make for the learning process; they can only add to, stimulate, make and provide a wholesome setting for learning to take place. It is the individual who must learn. Education is the first and fairest thing that the best of men can ever have. A liberal educat¬ ion is a high adventure. The human spirit is quickened and all the world becomes a brighter place to live because it is better understood. Young men and women are enabled to face what¬ ever life may bring with equanimity and cour¬ age. This is what I have found Price to be ... a molder of educationally destined young men and women. The teachers, the administration, the staff, the students, all epitomize this virture, and, as a new principal here at Price, I have seen, I have felt, I have caught this spirit and am proud to be a part of Price . . . for PRICE is PRICELESS! 4
