CLASS POEM (Adieu from ' 62) We must depart from you Price High The class of ' 62; We ' ve learned as if we ' ll live forever And now we say adieu. We have not marred our future By wasting our time away. But aimed to hold our banners high And look to a brighter day. We entered with one purpose Always our best to do, We suffered many hardships But with patience we came through. And as we leave our friends so dear These words we wish to say: Strive hard, look up, be brave As the noble game you play. Dear classmates never falter Never faint amid your strife Take one step at a time—but forward, As you travel the highway of life. May heaven guide our spirits now, And bless all we endeavor to do; May we bring fame to dear Price High Laudable class of ' 62. FARIES BUSH, JR. CLASS COLORS Red and White CLASS FLOWER Talisman Rose CLASS MOTTO With God—all things are possible CLASS SONG (Tune: The Exodus Song ) Dear Price to you we bid a fond adieu; Our hearts are full of love for you. We have our roles to play, within society, And we ' ll always cherish you in deed and thought. Classmates, we hope that we will meet again. Though we may wander far apart. Still in our memory, we ' ll hold our purpose high, For without an aim, we falter or we die. Our hearts with gratitude and love are filled; Our minds with aims have been instilled. We know our destiny is in the hands of God, And with faith in God, we know we will succeed. Refrain Dear Price, farewell, so long! Since we must go, we ' ll go to make this world secure For you Price High, for you Price High. GWENDOLYN WILLIAMS MARY ANN STRAWDER
