Our Retired Principa MR. L. H. HALL To the Class of 1962: I deem it a great honor to be asked to make a statement for your annual. I wish to congratulate each member of the class on achievement through the years. I commend the Board of Education and the parents on the physical equipment, and I commend the superintendent, supervisors and teachers who have implemented these educational tools for the prepara¬ tion of your future. As a watchman on the tower, I have viewed your progress. You are living in a critical age. I challenge you to join the uncounted multitude in making the world safe for free people. In the words of Booker T. Washington, Let down your buckets where you are. I implore you to let them down in human rela¬ tions, in Christian living, in family and community life, in developing the nations ' natural resources, in respect for the aging citizens. President Kennedy has called on us not only to ask what the government can do for us, but to ask what we can do for the government. By the same token, you might consider what you can do for Salisbury. You have made a great contribution in helping to win the All-America City award for Salisbury. You can continue your good work. This is your hour of de¬ cision. May ihe Lord bless you. Be good. Accept my very warm personal regards. Sincerely yours, LUICO HAMILTON HALL Retired Principal of Price High School
