CLASS POEM AU REVOIR We are the class of 61, We trust that our race has been well run; We have lost some classmates, and some we have gained, We have laughed often, though we ' d had some pain. Price High we have tried to give of our best, To you and our classmates and all the rest. We are hopeful that we will leave behind, Tokens that will help you keep us in mind. As we leave Price we are gay and sad, To have come thus far makes our hearts glad; We are proud of the knowledge we have learned, But with sorrow we part from the friends we have earned. We now leave to fulfill our dreams, To go ever onward for fame and esteem; We shall climb with vigor to heights above, And serve mankind with work and love. Through joy and sadness and elation, We remember all with appreciation, Our friends, our teachers, we leave in sorrow But we go to make a bright tomorrow. JOAN WILKINS CLASS COLORS Red and White CLASS FLOWER Red Carnation CLASS MOTTO Learn as if you were to live forever. Live as if you were to die tomorrow. CLASS SONG Price High Adieu (TUNE—MINNELIED) I The time has come, the time has come to say goodbye. To parents, friends, and alma mater, dear Price High; Our love for you has known no measure, Our high school days now at an end, Their memories we will treasure. II We thank our trustees, faculty, and parents dear. Who strove so hard in every way to guide us here; We cherish every thought and motive, And ever will we love you As our loyalty to you we give. III We know our future paths may all lie far apart, We venture forth with all our knowledge to impart, We face the future, brave and steadfast, Working to bring peace on earth Until we reach our goal at last! PRICE HIGH ADIEU! ALICE GARRETT EDGAR FRENCH GEORGE STRAWDER
