Foreword The class of 1959 wishes to perpetuate some memories which we hope will remain in the depths of our hearts forever. In the future, we hope that this annual will be used as a stepping stone to even better publications. We, the class of 1959, would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our prin¬ cipal, Mr. S. O. Jones, our parents and patrons, our superintendent, Mr. J. H. Knox, and our faculty. Especially do we wish to thank Mrs. A. A. Lancaster, Mr. John W. Nicholson, and Mrs. W. L. Miller, our senior advisors, for their profound devotion and persevering guidance in our class activities. We also wish to express our thanks to many Salisbury business firms and organizations for the advertisements furnished and the donations given, without which our plans could not have been accomplished. Dedication The class of ' 59 wishes to dedicate this annual to Mr. John W. Nicholson. For fifteen years he has been head of the Science Department of J. C. Price High School. During this time he has been able to improve the moral, intellectual, and social standards of the students through his teaching and through his supervision of the Hi-Y, Big Brothers, Student Council, and Bey Scout groups. This dedication is jusl one way of saying to Mr. Nicholson, Thanks to you, and God bless you.
