Our local community has played a very important part in the lives of all of us. It is. indeed, the very core of our social life and has helped us a great deal in be- coming young adults. It is here that we find our homes, churches, schools, and other institutions which are either necessary or provide a richer life for us in some way. We also now have the wonderful city lake which makes our water system possible and provides a good place for community get-togethers. One of the most important functions of the com- munity is to provide a school for the education of its youth. If it were not for this community there would be no Prescott High School, and therefore, no yearbook. It is for this reason that we have chosen to dedicate the '66 HORNET to ... our great community. Jfornet 5 a Our working staff--on strike!!! ADMINISTRATION fr r V . ■j«v v7 s ' V m7 S . 1 Congratulations to the yearbook staff for this fine portrayal of high school life which has been presented for this 1965-66 school year. A high school education is largely a col- lection of memories. In years to come, as you look through this yearbook. I hope that the memories recalled will be rich and clear.
