CQSS j1g5fOfy In the fall of 1955 fifteen meek but willing Freshmen entered the doors of The Hall of Higher Learning better known as P H S Early in the year we elected Everett Grigsby as our President Ronnie LaFarge as Vice President Shirley Hamilton as Secretary and Robert Laderer as Reporter We also elected Shirley Hamilton and Robert Laderer as our Student Council members Irene Ramsey was our Cheerleader Almost all of the Ffe5hm3l'1 bOyS went Out fOr basketball little did they know what accomplished players they would be in a few years The following September we entered Prescott High School as Sophomores Dining the first class meeting we found that we must elect our officers They were Everett Grigsby President Raymond Ungeheuer Vice President and Jennie Paddock Secretary Our Student Council members were again Shirley Hamilton and Robert Laderer Shirley was elected Vice President of the as sociation Our Cheerleader for this year was Shirley Hamilton Half of our struggle ts over we are now Juniors As we look around we find that we have lost Irene Ramsey and Ronnie LaFarge since our Freshman year Our Junior year brought about two main events our Junior Play entitled Girl Crazy and the Junior Senior Banquet which we staged as a Southern Plantation both events were considered to be very successful Our Junior Secretary Rhonda Fyock Our Cheerleader was again Shirley Hamilton Our Student Council members were Rhonda Fyock and Curtis Higgins This year the boys went to State in basketball and received 4th place We played our State Tournament at Great Bend Fifteen members returned to The Hall of Higher Learning in September 1958 with the intentions of graduating the following May We elected Fred Walrod as our President Robert Laderer as Vice President and Jennie Paddock as Secretary Our Student Council members were Rhonda Fyock and Joe White Joe was elected President at the first meeting Our Cheerleader was Jennie Paddock We selected the play My Three Angels for our Senior Play We worked hard on it but we were rewarded by a wonderful crowd the mght of the production Our Basketball team again went to State at Dodge City We re ceived 3rd place in the State of Kansas We had a lot of fun living in a hotel and visiting with the famous cowboys on Boot H111 As we go out of this school as graduates we will remember all of the days at good old P H S as the most important ones in our lives In years to come as we progress in our own fields of life we will look down on our 59 rings and cherish the four years at Prescott and will strive to apply the knowledge we acqurred there The school will little note or long remember what we say here but we can never forget what we did here Shirley Hamilton , . , . i . . .
