544+ L I W Dramatlcs Sitting Irma Wallace, Marilyn Pmkerton, Erma Cline Standing Jack auueage, nee nabba, Nelson On April 30, 1953, T-he 59111011 PTS sented a Mystery Comedy play in three acts, Mystery in the L1brary, by Helen Hlnes The play took place in the library of Clarke College, a gloom old msti tution bumlt more than fifty years ago The characters had not been selected for the parts at the time the annual went to press, butthe following seniors took parts Marilyn Pinkerton, ErmCline, Irma Wallace, Nelson Grigsby, Kenneth Shroyer, Carl Black, Bob Lay, Jack Rut- 38S There were twelve freshmen startmg to school 1n Prescott in 19149, with b1g 1d88S in store for the coming years Freshmen officers were president, Kenneth Shroyer, v1ce president, barl Black, secretary, Erma Cline, treasurer, Irma vlallace All the boys who went out for sports lettered Our class sponsor was Miss Virginia vhmmer In our sophomore year we had twelve members. We lost Joan Roblnson, but Shirley Beth and Elerie E. Stalhman came to our school. The class offlcers for th1s year were: president, Marilyn Pinkerton, v1ce-presxdent, Carl Black, secretary, Jack Rutledge, treasurer, Erma Cline. Th1s year we presented a play at the Y-Teen stunt night. The play, called Our Neighbors, was di- rected by Mrs. Stricklin. Our class sponsor was Mr. Stricklin. Grigsby, Carl Black, Gary Pruitt ledge, Jack Bortsfield, Dee Dabbs and Gary Pruitt In 1951, October ld, the senlorspre sented 'Lena Rivers The cast consist- ed of seven boys and seven girls The plot centers around Lena Rivers and Granny Nicholsand granmf's daughter- :Ln law, Matilda, who displays an air of wealth Matilda and herdaughter, aro ine, tremble with fear when they think that some of their wealthy friends will discover the presence of their awkward relat1ves History In our ,jumor year there were twelve members in our class at Prescott High Our class officers were pres1dent, Gary Prultt, v1ce pres1dent, Bobby Lay, secretary, Erma Cline, and treasurer, Kenneth Shroyer 'Dis year we presented the play, 'Inna Rivers, under the di rection of Mrs Stricklin Our :has sponsor was Mr Stricklin This year, our last year at Prescott, we had eleven class members. We lost Floris Stahlman and ga1ned Dee Dabbs, who moved away 3. the close of the year. Our class offlcers were: president, Nelson Gr1gsby5 vice-presldent, Jack Rutledgeg secretary, Marilyn Plnkertong treasurer, Erma Cline, and class re porter, Kenneth Shroyer. All the boys went out for sports this year. Five of the senior boys were listed among the first ten of the basketball team.
