I CLASS HISTORY 1935 began a series of events that we Graduates of 194-7 will al- ways cherish. Of the students who entered Prattsville School, only six will finish together: Oleda Ashley, James Crutchfield, Arthur Harris, Maxine Hope, Anita Ray, and Alma jean Williams. In our Junior year we gave a Hallowe'en and a Christmas program, both of which were a grand success. As we entered our Senior year, we were determined to make it our happiest and most profitable one. We chose for our motto: Forward'! Our class colors: red and white: our class flower: the red rose. We enacted The Poor Rich as our Senior play. Most of the Seniors went out for Basketball. We all feel that we owe much to all our teachers and friends who have helped us to go Forward! ,ll law' '1-W -

X SENIOR CLASS WILL We, the class of 194-7, in seven individual and distant parts, being about to pass out of this sphere of education, in full possession of a crammed mind, well-trained memory, and almost super-human understanding do make and publish this our la st will and testament. We give and bequeath to our dear faculty, who have been our instruc- tors in all the wisdom of the ages, a sweet and unbroken succession of restful nights and peaceful dreams. We give and bequeath to our dear Superintendent, Mr. J. D. Carter, our sincere affection, our deepest rever- ence, our heartiest gratitude, and the whole unlimited wealth of our eternal memory. To Mrs. Lowe, our sponsor, the balance of our class treasury, to be used in buying a pair of rubber shoes for detective work. We feel she will be sure to need these in dealing with the classes that are to be our successors. To our real and rightful suc- cessors we bequeath our Senior dignity. May they uphold it for- ever, with all seriousness and gravity, endeavoring to realize its vast importance, in spite of their natural lightmindedness and irre- sponsibility.
