Iessilyn Anne Harvey just above earth's low horizon And beyond our finite ear, There's a childish voice that echoes In an anthem sweet and clear. She has joined the heavenly choir g She has gained the fairer lands - ' Yet she knows that folks will miss her, And she sings God Understands . When our works have all been tested To reveal what will remain, Iessi1yn's will all be lasting, For she labored not in vain. Though her service'days have ended, There are countless souls she's won, And she rests serene in Jesus, For she's heard His words Well done. Oft we wish she had not left us, Oft we wonder why she didg It's a part of God s designing, Though the reason may be hid, And we know while we are saddened, Iessilyn has joy today: She is face to face with Jesus, She's at home not far away. Sarah jane Thomas Sponsored by Marion Cook, In L l fill' a O N the summer of 1947, God called home one of his choice witnesses, jessilyn Anne Harvey. Iessilyn was nearly seven years old when she was suddenly taken into the presence of God, and those seven years had been spent in deep consecration to the service of God. Iessilyn was the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Max Harvey, evangelists. She helped them greatly in their work, using her talents to the utmost. She prayed much for her parents' meetings, and for the souls of those who heard their messages. Even when jessilyn was very young, she witnessed to her playmates, and tried to per- suade them to accept the Saviour Whom she loved so much jessilyn was drowned as a result of a motor- boat accident while she and her parents were enjoying a vacation. While her homegoing is indeed sad, yet we know that God does not make mistakes We know that He had a purpose in it, even though we cannot understand. Rev and Mrs. Max Harvey gave the school a gift of a lovely piano in memory of their be- loved daughter When we use it, we can never forget the one in whose memory it was given, and her sweet consecrated effort for our Lord. ll .4 7a Wi 'cam ' HROUGH the years God gives to us the blessed privilege of knowing briefly some of His dearest saints. We have had this privilege in knowing Reverend john M. Sivewright Reverend Mr. Sivewright, a graduate of the National Bible Institute, New York City, came to Binghamton in 1933 as the pastor of the Main Street Baptist Church. In the following year he became the instructor of Evangelism here at Bible School Park. For thirteen years his teaching has been the source of blessing and inspiration to scores of yoimg people who have answered God's call. His love for souls and his zeal to win them was somehow transferred to those who came to know him. We readily noticed the vacancy left in our life at P.B.T.S. by his homegoing, but we feel that he is one of the great host of saints whom God is marshalling around Him for His soon return. In his two months of illness, his testimony for Christ was a glowing one, and in his darkest hours, by his faith in God, he preached a far greater sermon than words could tell. Only eternity will reveal how many souls he reached by his life. Truly we can say of him, At home with the Lord. ---Mary Louise Spaugh Sponsored by Lois Mae Cook, In Loving Memory of my brother, G.
