IS THE WAY YOU ARE GOING THE RIGHT WAY? Jesus said: I am the Way. There is a way which seemeth right Lmto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12 l. Iesus is God's Way- 'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. john 14:6 2. Jesus is God's only Way of Salvation-- Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 3. Jesus' Way is the old Way of the Cross of Calvary-- And having made peace through the Blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself: by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in Heaven. Colossians 1:20 4. The Way of the Cross of Calvary is where jesus suffered and died for our sins-- But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 5. The Lord Iesus Christ suffered and died that He might bring us to God'- For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. 1 Peter 3:18 g - - -Dorothy Reese THE WAY OF SALVATION THE LORD IESUS CHRIST! And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye, always having all suf- ficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.' ' 11Corinthians 9:8 MRS. JOHN A. DAVIS MOTHER DAVIS Truly we praise God for the privilege of enjoying your fellowship. N witnessing your sympathetic, buoyant spirit, and receiving your priceless gift of under- standing, many of us have been quickened in conquering temptation and discouragement. Your inspiring faith, the mellowness and fragrance of your life, is the essence that has reached out into the hearts of P. B. T. S. students. You have been instrumental in giving us much that is fresh and invigorating and inspiring, causing us to go forward with greater yieldedness to do the work our Lord has for us. The Lord set you apart for your duties here because you gave Him full opportunity to work through you. Your life is sacred and beautiful because you have lived it with Jesus reigning within. You are a marvelous testimony to the power of God to use an instrument completely yielded to Him. In the realm of devout Christian womanhood you are among the supreme. As you continue in His service, may God continue to make you a blessing to all those who come to this hallowed place to study His Word. ll .4 7a Wi 'cam ' HROUGH the years God gives to us the blessed privilege of knowing briefly some of His dearest saints. We have had this privilege in knowing Reverend john M. Sivewright Reverend Mr. Sivewright, a graduate of the National Bible Institute, New York City, came to Binghamton in 1933 as the pastor of the Main Street Baptist Church. In the following year he became the instructor of Evangelism here at Bible School Park. For thirteen years his teaching has been the source of blessing and inspiration to scores of yoimg people who have answered God's call. His love for souls and his zeal to win them was somehow transferred to those who came to know him. We readily noticed the vacancy left in our life at P.B.T.S. by his homegoing, but we feel that he is one of the great host of saints whom God is marshalling around Him for His soon return. In his two months of illness, his testimony for Christ was a glowing one, and in his darkest hours, by his faith in God, he preached a far greater sermon than words could tell. Only eternity will reveal how many souls he reached by his life. Truly we can say of him, At home with the Lord. ---Mary Louise Spaugh Sponsored by Lois Mae Cook, In Loving Memory of my brother, G.
