Christmas play. Fall'-s splash of color gave way to winter white, and the Christmas spirit invaded the halls of P.H.S. Students again this year used their imagina- tive powers to create' a variety of colorful Christ- mas scenes. Many homerooms were decorated with the use of colorful chalk and Christmas cards. Although the competition among the homerooms was keen, the judges selected as their winner, 102. Besides the usual Yule Tide Wishes from the teachers and our own Santa Claus, Sam Kalloch, we, the students, enjoyed a 'surprise gesture. This included carol singing by the teachers and the dis- tribution of apples to the student bodyg also dancing was provided for the students in the gym. On December 23, the children of our faculty were thrilled by the appearance of Santa Claus, Mr. Ross, and were given refreshments and comic books. The spirit of Christmas prevailed when our vacation began at three thirty on December twenty-third. Faculty children's party. www f . -
