We are complimented daily on our many classrooms, well stocked li- brary, spacious gym, beautiful auditori- um, and well equipped shops. Our mod- ern building has enabled us to enjoy the widest choice of subjects and curricula of any high school in Dutchess County. More than concrete, bricks, steel, and glass comprise our school, however. What makes our building really great is the spirit of the students and faculty who wonk there. Without this spirit, our lives would be without purpose, our building an empty shell. The spirit of those who planned and built the new Poughkeepsie High School and of those who dwell there as students and teachers makes our school one of the finest in the country.

We, the class of 60, wish to thank him for his steady hand at the helm which guided us through the problems of attending a new school, and his faithfulness in support of our activities. Wherever we went, whether to football rincilaa Jr As a reminder - goal posts cost 3550 apiece games, dances or assemblies, we saw our principal with his encouraging smile.
