So you and the guys jump in the van and you're off to hit the slopes. There's fresh snow on the ground and lots of powder. The mountains never looked so good. IH WA ro will x Do you find yourself procrastinat- ing, falling asleep on your books, doing Humanities with the stereo cranked, or watching the Cosby Show instead of tackling Geome- try? If so, you have mastered the art of not studying. The most common study-buster among students is procrastination, or avoiding homework altogether. Many seniors start their infamous Humanities paper at 11:30 pm, the night before the due date. To pre- vent falling asleep, they drain cof- fee into their veins intraveniously, or eat the coffee grinds straight. Anything for a quick caffeine boost. Other study habits involve lay- ing on your waterbed, listening to the Top 10, and eating Oreos. Some students will go as far as opening up their books, spreading papers out on the floor, and putting pen- cils behind their ears to convince their parents that real thought pro- cesses are going on.
