CLASS HISTORY As the school year 1951 52 began, srxteen brrght-eyed eager Freshmen were wandenng tn the halls of the hrgh school all of them seemed eager to learn These were Jerry Brenner Barbara Cain Donrad Davis, Lloyd Harvey, Lola Harvey Jrm Hmnen Loretta Hughes Curtis Jacobs Jerrol Martens, Mlnam McLain Loren Minard Allen Mossman, Darlene Mossman Janxce Pankratz B111 Smxth and Rlchard Sommers We elected Richard Sommers for our President Mr Joseph Bosco was our sponsor who helped us embark on our hrgh school career when our Sophomore year began we had lost Darlene Mossman, Loretta Hughes and Jerry Brenner Darlene had become Mrs Robert Dent during the summer months Loretta was workmg and has since become Mrs Grlbert Drck son and Jerry enlisted ln the Army Even though we had lost several class mem bers we garned Dale Donaldson from Pxedmont Barbara Cam was our Presrdent Mr Joseph Bosco was our sponsor thrs year too By the ume our Junior year started all of us began to feel very much at home in the famihar halls of P H S Supt Lynn R Wallace was our sponsor Sharon Kreutzer from Leon wlule we lost Dale Donaldson who was workrng and Jerrol Martens who was attendrng school at Berean Academy We presented our Jumor play Almost Summer under the drrecnon of Mr Fred Wolfe Jr At the end of the fust semester Allen Mossman moved to Newton New the close of school we gave the annual Jumor Senror Banquet wrth the help of our Mothers The theme of our banquet was Moonhght and Roses Now at last we are seruors, the year we have been wamng for ever since we began our long chmb through school twelve years ago Loren Mrnard is our Presrdent Under the helpful gurdance of Mr Glenn Crawford our sponsor we present- ed our senior play Let Me Out of Here on November 23 Through the years we wrll always remember the preparanons for the carnival the tense baseball and basketball games our dunes 1n the concessron stands and our annual tasks under the supervrslon of Mrss Edna McClure all of them wrth many happy memorres HOUSE OF PHOTOGRAPHY ROBERT MOUNTS, Manager wlchlli Kansas 9 I D l . .
