Hi-S- Potts could not do without her, even though the editor spends half of his time looking for her late articles. When the track season begins, Connie seems to put wings on her heels and starts to run for P. H. S. Though she played basketball, this year she preferred to keep time at the girls' basketball games and was kept busy shaking the stopped stop-watch during the quarters of the games. Margaret fMac, for shortj is a very quiet girl. Oh, yeah! until she gets started. You never hear her talk about the opposite sex, but surely there must be someone, somewhere. In English class Margaret is always ready with an answer, even though it is somewhat humorous. Mac is a great follower of sports. Originality plus personality. Chady is one of the busiest mem- bers of the class and is always rushing to some kind of a meet- ing. It doesn't ruflie her temper though because she is always happy and is usually laughing. She has a flare for writingg especially poetry and has a large volume 'full of her doggerel fto use an expression of her ownj. She is full of pep and fun and is a good sport. Hannah is one of our popular and peppy girls. She was chosen school cheerleader in her Senior year, and we surely feel proud of her in that nifty crimson and white outfit, which she wears on the football field. She still shows that f'Form in gym and actually seems made of rubber when she performs on the gym team. No wonder she's going to take physical education at Temple. She surely knows her athletics! Mannie takes little part in class activities, but is well known and liked throughout the school. He is one of the class' star students and has been a star forward of the class basketball team for the past three years. Mary Lou. Say, where's the Ere? Oh! It's just Mary Lou-- being rushed again by the few big men of the school besides some from Schuylkill Haven, Minersville and St. Clair. Mary's line and good looks turn her rivals green with envy although her witty remarks make them blush with laughter. As toughest guard playing basketball, cleverest goaler whacking a hockey- ball, and craziest sprinter that ever ran for P. H. S., Mary proves herself a demon in athletics. DANIEL DEIBLER Class Football 1, 25 Varsity Football 3, -lg Track 3, 4-g Class President 4-. Dan is one of the quiet fellows of the class, but at the same time one of the most popular. This is evident by the fact that Dan was elected class president for our last semester. He is also a versatile athlete, having played halfback on the varsity foot- ball team for two years and earned his letter in track. Dan is not a ladies' man, but this is not the girls' fault, especially the Junior girls. Wada Dramatic Club 2, 33 Gym Club 3, 4, Choral Club 3, 4, Hockey 1, Advanced Commercial Club -I-, Economics Club -I-. Ruthy. Ruth is one of our smallest blondes and one of the reasons why Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Ruthy is a talented singer and greatly aids the choral club. She, like most of our class, is a hard-working student Q?j. She has no B. F.'s in school, but what about Allentown? Ruth lives up to the sparkle and fire of her last name. VVhat a gem! 'X FRANK DEFRANCESCO Varsity Football 3, 4, Class Football 1, 2g Class Baseball 1, 2, 3, 4. Here is one of our best-liked fellows. Frankie is the champion smiler of the class. Wherever one goes about the school, one is bound to see him with his magic smile and pleasing disposition. He is also one of the star football players of the class, having earned his letter for two consecutive years. Wherever he goes, Frank will be popular with such a pleasing personality and happy nature.
