Four DEDIC Because th1s year marks the twenty hfth anmversary of Mr W11burt O Cressman s entrance mto Pottstown schools as well as hrs retrrement from hrs posltxon the 1951 Trorad IS ded1cated to hun When Mr Cressman came here rn 1926 there was no opportumty for advanced study 1n the vocatronal freld He orgamzed the fust general vocauonal course Through the years the department has been greatly expanded due to was converted 1nto a machme shop Later both woodshop and prmtmg were added to the curnculum In 1936 the school moved to the present buxldxng and two new courses the electnc and general metal shops were made avarlable The number of vocat1ona1 students has grown from exghteen m 1928 to a hlgh of 375 boys 1n 1942 and dunng the past year mcluded 156 boys Pottstown Semor Hlgh students w1sh to express the1r deepest gratltude and apprecxatron to Mr Cressman for hrs contnbutmons to the school his efforts.
