,f I I I' .f lQAi ti '--W SENIOR CLASS N the fall of 1941 a group of greenies stumbled through the doors of their new home. Soon they chose their leader, Bob Gardner, and sponsor, Mr. Raymond Smith. After learning some of the tricks of the trade, they held the annual skating party and selected a squad of cheerleaders from their class. The veterans of one year returned 'to their studies with the sarne enthusiasm. They were guided by Jim Fout, as president, and again by Mr. Smith, as sponsor. The year was brought to a triumphal climax with the sophomore dance. As juniors, they were right on their tiptoes and really got a glimpse of what was in store for them in a year. These three-year-olds appeared before the footlights in their class play, Suspense , Later, they sponsored a dance to raise money for the Ubig shindig . Their prom, under the chairmanship of George Ashley, was a huge success. Charles Smith led these juniors during the year, and Mr. Charles Lorentz did his duties as a sponsor. And now, these noble creatures have passed the twelfth step on the ladder of education. Jim Cassidy, president, Norma Sainopulos, vice-president, Ann Miller, secretary, Richard Moore, treasurer, and Miss Octavia Shinkle and Miss Hazel Wyant, sponsors, were chosen at the beginning of the year. The graduates of '45 enjoyed their class play, prom, and com- mencement exercises. They definitely are on their way to victory in life. Iwenty-two
