The hypnotic show, sponsored by the band- parents, brought uncontrollable glee as we watched our friends uperformf' The Hi-Y Christmas , 3 dance, the Student Council talent ii show, the Y-Teen Twilight Timex' all were wonderful. But eclipsing all of these was the Oriental Paradise, biggest night of the year 1957. Hues of red and gold, dragons, pagodas, ming trees, servers clad in Eastern dress -all are a blend of wonderful memories of the climax to a school year. Besides the regular phys ed classes that wc all take. there arc approximately 275 boys who go out for thc various athletic teams under the guidance of a staff of four coaches. Nat lwkins' T4- yard sparkler was the longest run of the season. .lohn Cline was the Bryantnicn's leading pointmaker and third in scoring in the NIYC. while Elmore. llunyon. Inman, Kile. Starr, Pyle, Cline. and Nlc-Clung, were all named to the all-conference team.
