Mr. Weller When the Whirlwind would be- come particularly Violent in 1937- 8, there Was always one person on Whom We could depend for strength. He never lost his head, but remained calm and steady in his place and spread confidence and good cheer to us panic strick- en students. Among the many fine qualities which We admire in Mr. Weller, these characteristics of clearhead- edness and calm judgment are not the least.
