When the Corner stone of the National Monument to this great Ainerivan Patriot and States- man was laid, .luly 4, l848fthe following' question was asked. In what did the power of Washington eonsist? 0ur Supervisors I I To compensate for the behavior of the pupils' attitude toward the teachers we feel that this column should quote the virtues of our instructors and not their vices. We students may act as though the teachers are the plague from Heaven but in reality every sentence and every thought is received with gratefulness for the opportunity to increase our knowledge.
