Sticking to the custom of having the freshmen picnic at Bartlett, we carried out our part by enjoying a good social com o d f , p se o games and all the trimmings neces- sary for a complete outing. Aside from conductin bu ' g siness meetings in the customary manner, we did little in the wa of s onsorin or conductin school ff ' Y P g g a airs. A few of our talented entertainers performed in assembly, thus showing that the freshmen class had the necessary requirements if called upon to lend their help. This year has been used more as a primer to accustom the class to the environ- ment of high school ways, with the result we haven't much to write about, but feel that we have lived up to the expectatio b ns estowed upon us, and will continue to fill our place at Porterville high. 1 1
