Many friendships that have grown out of your associations, the multitude of experiences which you have enjoyed, and the countless tasks which your teachers have assigned to you in the various courses you have taken now all blend together into a whole, which is your high school education. This, I'm sure you recognize to be only the beginning, a preparation for that long term education which you will experience throughout life. As you enter upon this further education, may I remind you that you are important people. It is necessary for you to always keep that fact in mind and to never forget that as important people what you think, what you say, and how you act in all of your asso- ciations with individuals and groups is very important not only to you but to society as a whole. As an important person, you are a responsible citizen, one who is ready and willing to use his talents wherever there is a constructive job to be done. We believe you are important and that your actions will justify this trust in you. ' ERVIN R. We hold monthly meetings at which new ideas are discussed and plans are made for the future. This year has been an especially busy year for the club. In September over lif- teen new members were initiated at a supper party held in the high school cafeteria. We had a goal this year to visit New York City to see the many interesting places connected with Latin. To do this we needed financial aid, so we had a number of food sales. These turned out very successfully, and we shall probably make the trip in the spring. We have also arranged for the motion picture Julius Caesar to be shown at the high school for interested students. Adviser: Miss Harris. J. Storms, J. Wohlscheid, B. Wetmore.
