Students Participate in Running PC New Xl' Government Day is a chance for students from PCI-IS to run the city for a day and get involved in go- vernment in the process. Sponsored by Compass last year, it was held this year under the direction of stu- dent co-ordinators Donna Nobis and Deb Amidaneau. Students ran for various city positions or were appoint- ed to their duties by the mayor, Scott Bradbee. A, At the police station, Dave Milefchik dis- cusses the duties of police chief with an officer of the law. B. Criminal suspect, Mr. Edwards, gets his mug shots taken in preparation for his trial. C, Attorney for the defense Jeff Wilkins cross-examines witness Deb Amidaneau as judge Sharon Pelber weighs the evidence and pronounces the suspect innocent. 19

Pigskin Swing Agam a Success Music by Sky Blue Pink provided the entertainment for the many cou- ples who attended this year's 'Pig- skin Swing. Roxanne Powell, excort- ed by Hubert Tucker, was crown- ed queen. Senior attendant, Kathy Johnson, was escorted by Scott Brad- bee. Pam Stinson, escorted by Bruce Boeshart, was junior attendant. The sophomore attendant was Sue Peter- son, escorted by Jim Dubbert. Fresh- man attendant Cathy Hepp was escorted by Scott Bovenizer. The queen was given a bouquet of six long stem red roses and each attendant was given a single long stem rose. A. The royalty for the evening, Queen Rox- anne Powell and Hubert Tucker, look on as the evening is enjoyed by all. B. John Imke and Joanne Patz look around in surprise at the cafeteria, which was de- corated with footballs and streamers. C. The moods of the evening are expressed on the faces of many couples. 18
