Dave Krupp pres Maxine Bnndley vice pres Russell Budd sec treas THE 0PH0lVI0llE Followmg trad1t1on we started our Freshman year looking very green cmd lost However thanks to our swell sponsors Mlss Blausey MISS Sayers Mr Howarth Mr Neel and Mr Easton we soon gathered our wits together and elected Andy Mxgala president Caroline Rof kar v1ce-presrdent Elmore Mlgala secretary ed that our class wouldnt be able to get along very well w1thout money in our treasury There- fore We sponsored a concession stand on Oc tober 19th and later on December Zlst a con CGSSIOH and a dance Being a very br1ll1ant t?l and energetic C?l class we entered many school act1v1t1es the boys golng out for football and basketball and the g1rls for G A A F H A dra matics declamat1on and Las Amigas At last after a fairly successful survival of our Freshman year we opened our Sophomore year feeling much more sure of ourselves After 24 electing Dave Krupp presldent Maxme Br1nd ley v1ce-presldent and Russ Budd secretary and treasurer We Were informed that our treas ury was very low ln order to remedy this situ at1on we sponsored the concession at the Eos toria game on October 4th and also the con cession and dance at the Green Springs game pennants license plates and dog tags Even more of us went lnto school GCl1V1l19S this year than last and made the forty nmers recog n1zed as one of the most active and loyal classes ever to go through this h1gh school Our mam regret IS that time 1S flying so very fast Half of our wonderful high school years IS already past We are now preparing to make even more progress in our lunior and Sen1or years so that We may be a cred1t not only to our class but also to our Alma Mater ' . , , ' ' : . l I I I I - .
