if--,Bei Left to right: J. Armbruster, Treas.g J. Macko, Pres., J: Flynn, Sec, E. Warnke, V. Pres, We started our Freshman year as a very promising class. . . if high school activities have anything to do with it a little too much social life and not enough studying from all reports from teachers . . . an independent class with Willard Lemmerman as president, Richard Johannsen, vice-president, Joyce Flynn, secretary, and Suzanne Ganther, treasurer . . , this all being new to us, we only sponsored one dance . . . we all sur- vived the jolt of being freshmen but some are still a bit lost. We chalked up a victory by being per- mitted to enter the sophomore class . . . last year's addle-pated freshmen had finally metamorphosed into sensible but spirited sophomores . . . the very backbone of the school . . , a bit balmy to the upperclassmen but-Conrad Beutler was elected president, Robert lngwerson, vice-president, Lois Petersen, secretary, and Elizabeth Eldred, treasurer . . , in order to obtain more money for our treasury we again took over the concessions at a few basketball games . . . we also sponsored several very successful dances. What now? Well, again we made the grade only to have more responsibilities heaped upon us . . . we presented Spring Green, a comedy of teen-agers, all by our- selves . . , our next headache and problem was to produce one of the best junior-senior proms ever held at P,C,l-l.S .... as a junior class we have developed a fine bunch of followers with a few unusually remarkable leaders . , , Joe Macko acting as president, Joyce Flynn as vice-president, Earl Warnke, secretary, and James Armbruster, treasurer. Our sponsors during these years have been: Mr, Groves, Miss Sayers, Mrs. Tren- shaw, and Mr. Stucky.
