SENIUHS Mary Edwin Doris Edward CLASS OFFICERS President Edwin Williams Vice President Doris Davis Secretary Mary Hopfxnger Treasurer Edward Iones SENIUB CLASS HISTUHY Way way back in the year l94O it happened We entered Port Clinton High School with the manners of polished sophisticates worthy of college graduates After a few weeks even the faculty were persuaded that we .vere harmless and came out of hiding During that first year as freshies twe too had to start there? we were guided through various financial pitfalls by our class officers With Madalyn Petersen president Richard Bloom vice president Lois Frontz sec retary Anna Mae Fisher treasurer we could do no wrong Our first f1nanc1al adventure was a skating party and we also sponsored three more dances that year tmoney rolling inl Our guiding lights were Mary Keller presldent Fred Keys secretary lack Miller treasurer ln our lunior year Edwin Williams took over as president Robert Clemons vice president Madalyn Petersen secretary Madelyn Bahnsen treasurer We were then consldered old enough to put on a play by ourselves and after a few days of rehearsal fslight exaggeration? we gave that immortal masterpice Ever Since Eve But soon it was time to spend all our hard earned money on tof course? the Iun1orSen1or Prom The next year we strode into school as SENIORS masters of all we surveyed Edwin Williams was re elected president Dons Davis vice president Mary Hopfinger secretary Ed Ward Iones treasurer Our sponsors were Miss Kincade Miss DeMuth Mrs Brown and Mr Eisenhart The Senior Class then decided money was needed to put out thrs Revista and so we collected Waste paper C27 tons of itl and swelled the bank account And so we end this little narrative W1th but one wise proverb Money isn t EVERYTHING , . 1 ' , : .
