It all began in the dark days of 1937. Something similar to a Hblitz- krieg struck l'ort Clinton High School and swept sophomores, juniors, seniors, and faculty members oil their respective feet. .-Xfter the fury sub- sided and the bombs were found to be only paper wads and the cannons to be mere rubber bands, out of the pandemoniuin emerged the present SHN- IUR CLASS. Yes, we were freshmen once, believe it or not. We started something new by having a floor show at one of our dances. The money we made gave us a good start on our plans for this literary and pictorial master- piece. Our ollicers for the year were Chuck Thompson, president: George Creer, vice-president, Pauline Schade, secretaryg Dick Semon, treasurer. By the beginning of our sophomore year we were becoming a little more accustomed to the idea of studying, much to the surprise of our dear teachers. We were still money-mad, our efforts taking shape chiefly in sponsoring a movie and two dances. Our frantic efforts were directed by President George Greer: Vice-president Helen Kostelnikg Secretary Lila liaston, and Treasurer ,Ioe Lukac. ' The idea of studying still bothered us vaguely during our junior year -very vaguely, we might say. Once we had our class rings ordered, we wandered around in a state of excitement and impatience until they came, because we were inaugurating a new crest. Then our heads were filled with the prom. Contrary to all beliefs, this was NOT the first time our heads ever had anything in them. This year our chief conspirators were Chuck Thompson as president, Edwin Ashton as vice-president, lsabelle Robron as secretary, and Johnny Trnavsky as treasurer. Seniors at last! Never thought FIUUIE- CUUJK ANU' N weid make it, did you? But here we -4 'a are, and with a REVIST,-X to prove it. The Democratic Party has noth- ing on usg Chuck was also re-elected for a third term as president. The other officers are lfdwin .-Xshton, vice-president: and Don qkrmbrus- ter, secretary-itreasurer.
