Right Reverend Monsignor Thomas P. English ON JUNE 7, 1959, Monsignor English has been invested in the robes of A Domestic Prelate. Congratulatory greet- ings were extended to the Pastor and Administrator by students, parishioners, friends, and civic leaders on this memorable and joyful occasion. The proclamation has been conferred during the last week of April. The text of the Papal Brief reads: Beloved Son, greetings and Apostolic Benecliclion. Freely, and with a benign mind, receiving the requests brought to us that W e should publicly give a testimony of Our singular good will towards you, which certainly has been well merited by you f and not for one act alone j for your part in the advancement of the Catholic causeg you, Thomas Patrick English of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in California, we appoint, create, and announce you a Domestic Prelate.
