The Annual Sixth Form Dance, held on Friday, February the seventeenth, was a great
success. In addition to the main dance on Friday, there was an informal dance on Saturday
night. There were twenty-two couples and twenty-live stags present.
Un Friday afternoon Mrs. Olmsted very kindly gave a tea dance at her house. In the
evening the dance was held at the Main House. There were twelve card dances, each having
an encore, and after them came general dancing until eleven o'clock, when a flashlight picture of
the dance was taken. Immediately after this XYagstaff led the Cotillion, during which the favors
were distributed. Supper was served at twelve o'clock.
On Saturday all the guests lunched at the school. and another dance was held in the Com-
mon Room at live o'clock. There was also informal dancing after the moving picture, "Two
Arabian Knights."
The School owes much gratitude to Mrs. Olmsted for all that she did to make the Dance
the success that it was, and the Sixth Form wishes to take this opportunity of thanking the
patronesses, Mrs. Bowden and Mrs. Carr, for their help. Much appreciation is also due to
Miss Chase.
The following were present at the dance: From the Sixth Form: Beard with Miss Char-
lotte Patterson, Bowden with Miss Jane Erdman, james with Miss Elizabeth Betts, Lyman
with Miss Dorothy NVhittier, Pearce with Miss Anita Hinckley, Townsend with Miss Mary
Magee, XYagstaff with Miss Lucie Alcott, XYhitney with Miss Kate Hyatt. Short with Miss
Elizabeth McBee, Soutter with Miss Barbara Farmer.
