A discovery curricul um Health Occupations Education is a discovery curriculum. H.O.l studies the variety of posi- tions available in the health care industry. HG. ll students such as these actually learn the steps to finding a position as well as the skills needed to keep that position. These HO. ll students also do one to two weeks rotations in many local health care ot- tices and clinics including St. Luke's Hospital. Health Occupations students study substance abuse, First Aid and have training in C.P.R. They are also involved in human services pro- jects such as the Health Fair which allows them to provide a valuable service to the eo D . ple of the communities in which they live and learn.
