S The art classes added a lot to Polk Cen- tral's celebration ot Christmas this year. Not only did they make ornaments tor the tree but they also provided a Mr. 81 Mrs. Santa Claus complete with elves to greet students in the cafeteria. The Senior Beta Club added their ettorts by sponsoring their annual door decorating contest. Eli Stephanie Skipper and Angel Angie Miller help Santa Gary get ready for his next appearance. A touch of Christmas humor

Who has my ha1ry toe? To celebrate Halloween, the Art l and Art ll classes listened to a story called 'llvly Hairy Toe and then created their own characters as they perceived them from the story. Materials used included yarn, paint, pantyhose, newspaper, cones and paper bags. Their handiwork was dis- played in the art room and in the library. 32 Halloween
