Pxsxgiaxv' A Winning Season The eighTh grade boys' baskeTball Team had anoTher winning season as The A Team led The way wiTh '13 wins and only Three losses. The B Team followed suiT wiTh 47 wins and only Three losses. Coach Ed Cahill aTTribuTed The fanTasTic season To The hard work and dedicaTion of his players. The players began Their season in November wiTh The game againsT The arch rival Blue Springs. BoTh games were inTense and acTion- packed. And alThough The double- header was spliT ThaT nighT, The Team came back To sweep The season ending wiTh double vicTories over Jefferson Ciiy. All of The players agreed ThaT deTerminaTion and good sporTsmanship was needed To make Their year a successful one. They hoped To carry on Their suc- cess To The high school for nexT year.
