The primary purpose of the California Scholarship Federation is to stimulate academic interest and spirit among high school students and to give recognition to those students who earn high academic honors. The important activities of the year have been the field trip to the U.C. campus in the fall and the annual banquet in the spring. C.S.F. also aided the school this year in the promotion of picture sales. Membership in C.S.F. is gained by attaining high grades and by taking part in extra- curricular activities. Students who remain in C.S.F. for four of their last six semesters in high school become eligible for a seal-bearer award and are entitled to special scholarships. xr This year's seal-bearers.
