Future Business Leaders of America seeks to develop competent, aggressive business leadership, to strengthen the confidence of young men and women in themselves and their work, and to create more interest and understanding in the intelligent choice of business occupations. F.B.L.A. has one major project each semester. Their fall project was to make and fill Christmas boxes for children at the county hospital. For their spring project they did typing and duplicating for community organizations. In the fall they held a smorgasborcl dinner preceding installation and initiation cere- monies. This spring they held their annual Splash Party at a local swimming pool. F.B.L.A. Members and their flying fingers.

Advisor. CADUCEAN SOCIETY About thirty active girls make up this year's Caducean Society. The group is made up entirely of girls who are interested in science, especially in various phases of medicine, such as nursing, physical therapy, etc. Among their activities this year, the girls gave a Christmas party for a rest home in Concord. The club also organized a trip to St. joseph's College of Nursing, where they listened to speakers, met the girls in training, and had a sports outing later in the day. The girls also had a charter dinner at P.H.H.S. The Caducean Society is looking forward to an active program next year. The Caducean Society helps to further the interest is I and knowledge of the med- ical professions.

Much of the first and second semesters was spent in preparing projects to be exhibited at the annual Bay Area Science Fair, The officers planned an interesting year's program, which included a field trip to the University of California science department in the spring. The main purpose of this cluh is to allow the members to pursue their personal scientific interests and to stimulate an interest in science throughout the school.
