In M ay you leave with a feeling of relief that another year, another phase is over, not really realizing that not only is anotheryear gone but you are now a step higher to that final goal. On returning in the fall there is an element of surprise mixed with the excitement, eagerness, and apprehension. People youpoe known all your life, grown up with, look completely different. You realize that you haoen7t really looked at them in years. Three months growth is more like three years. Where boys left, young men returned. You grow to love and respect those whom you ,oe always taken for granted, and then you find they aren't the only ones who have grown. -Beth Rosier The Grove, not just a school, itas a way of life. No other school is quite the same. The sleepy homerooms, the spirited pep rallies, the last minute dash to class, the cesspool, the rumble of the shop class, the aromatic odors of the chemistry lab and the lunchroom are all characteristics of no other school. The people, smiling, frowning, laughing, crying, screaming, and whispering, make up this collection of individuals. Pleasant Grove High, yes, but also Pleasant Grove family. -Danny Flack
