JR. HIGH CHEERLEADERS The junior high school cheerleaders have worked hard learning many new stunts and cheers. They practiced throughout the summer, anxiously awaiting the moment when they would cheer the junior Spartans. Mrs. Martha Adams is their sponsor. VARSITY CHEERLEADERS Janet Richards, Angela Quinn, head cheerleader, Robin Cannon, Karen Jones, Nancy McDill, Terri Dempsey co-head, Lucretia Edwards, Gina Barton, Jane Watters, Terri Maddox. Cheerleaders for the first Pleasant Grove High School football and basketball teams were elected last spring. These girls worked all through the summer learning cheers and stunts. The highlight of the summer was a trip to National Cheerleading Clin- ic at the University of Mis- sissippi. Faculty sponsor for the cheerleaders is Mrs. Jeannie Harwell.
