The fifth graders took a trip by train to Glenwood Springs to go swimming at the hot springs pool. Thoy rdisod tho funds for this outing by holding many bake sales and raffles of mice. The sixth graders had junior high orientation so that they could become a little bit familiar to the junior high life- style they would soon experience. The sixth grade class also started an elementary school newspaper fashioned after the high school 1s. 9
