Dianna was also very active in Student Council as secretary her junior year. She was very outspoken and humorous. Dianna elected to go abroad her senior year to Yugoslavia. On August 27, 1987, 19 kindergarten students began school, not knowing how much change they would go through during the next 13 years. Trudy and Tanya began a friendship that endured a tremendous amount of trauma. To begin with, they broke the cardboard playhouse in 1st grade. Tanya moved to Meeker and left Trudy behind to become friends with Dianna. John made a fashion statement in 1st grade with a siperman t-shirt and a Mickey Mouse belt. In junior high he donned the look of Motley Crue, but change to a fashion model in the 1987 style show. Dianna moved to PV in the 3rd grade. She made her political statement as Senator before she went abroad to Yugoslavia her senior year as a foreign exchange student. It's amazing Dalyn is still friends with Travis and Chuck. Travis hit Dalyn in the mouth while she hang upside dcwn on the monkey bars. Chuck took a swing at her whenver he got the chance, but she got even with both of them as football trainer. Shane caTe to PV in 2nd grade. He helped tum PV football and basketball around his junior year. He was a key factor in the district win against Basalt which sent the guys to state. Chuck was also a big asset to the teams. He helped keep team spirit alive. Cheryl once wore a red, white and blue dress to school in 1st grade. Tanya and Trudy followed her around pledging their allegience to her. Maybe they'll pledge their allegience to her on her wedding day in June?! Travis and John did their share of troublemaking while in elementary. For instance, snakes weren't allowed in school, but nobdy said they couldn't be in the girl's bathnocm, did they? Jason also got in a lot of trouble after he shut Trudy and Tanya in the same locker! Rana began school here in 6th grade. She was the manager for the volleyball team and helped produce a fashion show her senior year. She also did a lot of work in the journalism department. Steve, Wade and Ira took on nesponsiblity in vast amounts. They helped start the A Cliio, initiate the change in the school paper, and establish the noids! Steve had the talent for drawing nude goddesses, Ira was a whiz in physics and advanced math, but Wade was a true genius in the department of bugging Dalyn! Kris and Donna both led quieter lives throughout most of school. Kris and Cheryl were responsible for starting a babysitting service during heme ball games. Kris also fell offthe slide when she was in elementary. Donna, on the other hand, became very outspoken her senior year with the saying babe. Mark went through a lot of changes throughout school. He went from a Crue idolizer to a quiet, neatly dressed senior. In elementary, however, he did yank out Chuck's tooth. Joel joined the class of 88 in 1st grade. He became camera happy his senior, but even this couldn't stop Joel from pursuing a career in the Air Force. Jason spent part of 3rd grade in a cast, as well as part of his senior year in one. But his senior year he had his own private nurse! Khris came to PV in junior high. She caused a lot of trouble in freshman world history with the rest of the class. She also became one of the first 2 girls allowed in the guys locker rocm at half time. Brenda was the first of our class to live on her cwn. The simmer before her senior year, she moved into her cwn aprtment. This made the roommate assignment a lot easier for roomie Mark. Elnora became a prime debater in senior social studies. She was also a model in the fashion show her junior and senior years. One could often find Elnora reading her book at noon. Elnora was the target of Joel and Ira's troublemaking. They scared her with fake blodd and got it all ove her dress in elementary. Over the years, we have been in our fair share of trouble and fist fights, but we've managed to stay friends. In the next few years we hope to keep in touch until we'll see one another at our reunion in 1998. 38 Seniors- You proved that you can aim for a goal and achieve it—that per- sistence, dedication and effort still pay off! Keep up the good work in the future! Joel- fhe sky is the limit, so reach for the stars. AIM HIGH!!! Mom, Dad and Robin Chuck- The Mikesel Congratulations Brenda Wish we cou 1 j v••. She worked to get a P.V. chapter of Students Against Drinking and Driving started. Before the end of the first quarter the group was formed and rolling. They set their objectives at bringing the problem of drunk driving before-the public. They irrmediately started planning events and other information programs.. Through the group students started to show concern and caring, qualities all too unccmmon in today's world. This enthusiastic group has proved a valuable asset to the area and school and is sure to do the same in the future.
