I, Ian Steve Calegory, will my ability to, during my Senior Year, take a full 16 credit hour per semester load at Mesa, keep a 20 hour a week job in the Computer Department, join a college rock band, do a D.J. show on KMSA once a week; and daring enough (stupid enough) to try it. And my bud Fred to anyone who has a pick-up to haul him around. I, Billy Cowger, will all my schoolwork to the class of '88. I, Kelly Denise Cox, will my position as the ultimate Bronco fan to Spike, Chris, and Larry, in hopes that they carry on the tradition with faith and loyalty. Student. I, Karen Jeanette Encke, will my ability to get ten different nicknames in one week to anyone. And my height and my ability to drop anyone to Spike Meyring. I, Shari Forsberg, will my ability to finally accept and believe what life is all about to Tess Bevan in hopes that she'll love her Senior Year like I did. I, Kimberly Ann Fullmer, will my ability to be kind and good to my slaves, David Grubbs and Colton Walter, in the hopes that they will be good to their slaves when they are Seniors. I, Kenny Hatch, will my '63 Ford Galaxy to anyone who has enough mechanical know- ledge to keep it on the road. I, Tammy Hawkins, will my Radar Sensory Tush Tracer to anyone who thinks that they can improve my subtle techniques. The Seniors of ‘87 have turned to a more sophisticated form of partying as they are seen on Shelly Chase's yacht at the Sunnyside Pond. Shelly, who is very wealthy, happily single, and traveling all over the world, now operates a cruise line that is based in Los Angeles. The entertainment is being provided by Colleen Dahlby, now a famous Country Western singer, who is happily married and living in Nashville. Billy Cowger, who is a prominant figure in the world of law enforce- ment, is providing security for this international event. Lisa Michelle Hill is seen giving orders to her staff in search of perfection for the keeping of her good reputation in the world of high-class restaurants. Both Lisa and Karen Encke are now living in Texas. Lisa is running a world famous restaurant, and Karen is now married to Soviet leader Gorbechov and is running the Soviet Union from the basement of Lisa's restaurant. Rudy Skrbina, (Democrat) is now an FBI agent working under Democratic party leader Kim Fullmer. Rudy is looking for a way to bust up Karen's Soviet operations. Sandy Dillon and Travis Baier are both living in Beverly Hills; Sandy is a hair dresser for the rich and famous, and Travis has been touring as the lead guitarist for Motley Cr'ue to support the wife and kids. We now see Eric Pratt and Steve Wilson talking in the corner. Eric's sports career took a strange turn and he is an ex-pro wrestler now running a chain of sporting goods stores in Nashville. Steve is a sleep therapist living dreamily in California. Standing nearby are Kari Mikesell and Tammy Hawkins; Kari is now a storyteller and still frequents Sunnyside parties; while Tammy her legal secretary, is printing Kari's stories and trying to keep them both out of trouble. Standing at attention we have Five-Star General Byron Bradford, and Private harve Pehl. Harve is working under the supervision of high ranking military official (5'2 ) Byron. Standing by the bar talking about problems at work we have Danny Click and Kenny Hatch. Kenny now owns Powderhorn and Danny is his manager and right-hand man. Kenny races cars in his spare time, and Danny takes summers off to explore Sunnyside. Lisa Lawerance is on the telephone to her main office in Wyoming talking to one of the clients of her large accounting firm. From talking to Shari Forsberg we find she just finished stewardessing a direct flight from the French Riveria to Collbran. Shari and Mark Nichols, a computer whiz for NASA, are comparing flight differences between outer space and Shari's airline. Oh my, that must be Toni Anderson; I hear that she is now a nurse in Alaska for Eskimos. She is also still very athletically active in the form of running to stay warm. Here we have two more '87 graduates that have stayed in the valley: Teresa Booth and Kelly Cox. Teresa is now running P.V.'s first Animal Hospital and Pro- Bull Riders Clinic. Kelly is happily married with two young children and is also P.V.'s newest kindergarten teacher. The two that nobody has seen or heard from in years are Ian CalOgory and Greig Tilley. Greig became a hermit soon after graduation and has been writing science fiction novels ever since. Ian has been working on Star Wars Defense in Iceland for 10 years. And now we have a moment of silence as everybody remembers the good o 1' days. 20 JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS Khris Mikesell (Secretary), Travis Horton (Vice Pres.), Trudy Hall Jason McMillan (STUCO Rep.), and Shane Walter (President). Even though the juniors were very independent individuals, they worked very well together in athletics, academ- ics, and various activities. As athletes, they worked together to have winning seasons. In academics, class- mates found them- selves competing for class ranking. Rana Bailey Joel Dulaigh Trudy Hall Travis Horton | Krissy Clifton Donna Forsberg Dianna Leinberger V Cheryl Hooper Jason McMillan 22 Chrissy Mikesell Chuck Nichols Elnora Morgan Ron Norris Bohn Morse Uade Nichols As the year progressed, they began to prepare for prom. It soon became apparent that, even though some thought they could do it on their own, it would take the help and ideas of the entire class to make the prom a success. Facing their final year of high school, with all of the good times to come, they should also remember that good-byes are not far away. The students involved in National Honor O Society are hard-working and depnedable yet, sometimes invisible. They are involved in many extra-curricular school activities such Q as: athletics, Student Council, band, voca- ™ tional club, and others. Projects taken on by these students are always finished efficiently because, of the quality of work they are used to producing. N.H.S. members were active in the Academic Booster Club, they helped with the M.S. Read-a-Thon. Their main project was creating read-alongs for textbooks. To raise money they worked many concessions (thanks parents!) and did compatibility matching for Valentine's Day. We would like to thank Mrs. Morris for all the dedication and energy she puts into the group. Without her help N.H.S. would not be so successful each year. GQtUBQy PRIDE STAFF The 1986-87 journalism class reflected their atti- tude toward their senior year by adopting the theme, Cowboy Pride .for the yearbook and newspaper. As the year progressed, they demonstrated maturity and teamwork in addition to pride as they met and master- ed a long series of tasks to produce the book you are now holding. Their efforts and attitudes will continue to challenge journalism classes in years to come to demonstrate their Cowboy Pride . RALPH G. KIBLER, D.D.S 109 W. 3rd P.0. In addition she was 2nd in Field Goal % at 35.2%, and points at 10.8 p.g. Good luck next year at Western Montana State! Colleen played a number of roles for the team. Starting roles, the 6th person , generally a forward, but when circumstances asked for it, she was our 5'6 center. Colleen's desire to succeed and love of the game were a great asset. Kim also missed the first two games to Honor Band. Through the season, she became a consistent and effective player. I could always rely on her to get back up and keep going. On Military Monday many students wore military uniforms from the different services. Byron Bradford and Val Michaelson were awarded prizes for the best military uniforms. Tuesday we went back to the 601 s for a day; Travis Baier and Lisa Lawerance were Mr. and Miss 60's. On Wednesday students were smartly dressed in dresses, skirts, and nice pants. Thursday brought many laughs--it was Nerd Day. Two Sr.'s got the Nerd Day award, Rudy Skrbina and Karen Encke. As Freshman Initiation continued Cecil Young was crowned the Penny Pushing King. On Friday green and white were the predominant colors around the school. The Spirit Club put on a great Pep Rally as the Freshmen ENJOYED their last day of Initiation. Friday night brought a lot of excitement as the volleyball team battled the Rangely Panthers. Although the girls lost a heartbreaker, the Homecoming spirit was not lost. Breaking a seven year tradition the P.V. football team won their Homecoming football game! The Homecoming Coronation was held on the football field before the game. Candidates were: Colleen Dahlby, Kim Fullmer, Karen Encke, Rudy Skrbina, Danny Click, and Steve Wilson. Kenny Hatch and Lisa Michelle Hill were Second Attendants, while Travis Baier and Kelly Cox were First Attendants. Eric Pratt and Toni Anderson were crowned King and Queen for Homecoming '86. A dance was held on Saturday evening in the gym to bring Homecoming '86 to a close. Deco- rations were done by the Sr.'s and music was by the Q-FM music machine. Although we have to say good-bye to a great week, we are just saying hello to some fond and lasting memories. CAST SCMGGL ■« m.
