As the crowd gathers at the ten year reunion of the class, we see many old friends talking to one another about what has happened to them in the last ten years. The first group we come to includes KEVIN ADAMS, BILL GOODWIN, and LEE LIND. Kevin tells Bill and Lee that his high performance engine company is doing well since he started it five years ago. Bill, who lives in Hawaii, works in his own auto body shop. Lee, a mechanic, fixes expensive sports cars for the Eurpoeans where he lives in the richest part of the continent. We hear JAN McGEE and PERRY FLETT talking about their music careers. JAN has toured many countries on his rock concerts since leaving P.V. Perry says the only thing he sees are bubbles from the Lawrence Welk show where he sings and tap dances for large audicences to the acccompaniment of DAVID RHOADS on the rhythm guitar. Next we see TROY LATHAM and JOHN JACOBUCCI talking about their money, mansions, and oil. John, a petroleum engineer, lives near Denver “out of the smog” near where Troy goes four wheeling in his 4X4 Rolls Royce paid for by work- ing in the oilfield profession. KEITH SWAINSTON, an engineering technician, joins in on the conversation. ANITA KELTY has just returned form an ambulance emergency where she helped deliver ROSE BROCKWAY’s seventh child. Rose will be here soon, I have been informed. Standing by the buffet table are BILL MILHOLLAND, and FRED WALLACE talk- ing about their construction companies. Bill describes how different it is in Hawaii, compared to Collbran. He adds how busy he is being a professional surfer and a private investigator since he took our Magnum P.l’s job. ERIC BRUTON starts a conversation with Fred about Fred’s guide and outfit business. Fred asks Eric about his wife and two kids in Montana, and Eric responds that he enjoys working at his mountain lodge. HEATHER KENNEDY and GAIL MORGAN are discussing their successful careers. Heather is a respected, single business woman in the field of law. Gail, a professional horse trainer, is planning to retire in a few years, take a vacation in her yacht, and buy a thoroughbred horse ranch. DEBBIE WISSEL, a highly paid finance specialist, is talking to Gail about her horse ranch and explaining how her husband and kids keep a four million dollar ranch prospering. Now we see two couples comparing pictures of their families. TAMMI BIESER shows LYNN NICHOLS a picture of her two kids and Tom, her husband. The kids are six and nine years old. Lynn shows Tammi a picture of her two kids and hus- band. Lynn takes out another picture of the class she taught this last school year. PAULA CLEMENTS, a legal secretary, stops to talk to Admiral MATTHEW HOR- TON about the armed forces. Paula was just promoted to colonel in the National Guard. Matt tells Paula about being head nuclear physicist and about being in charge of his own fleet of submarines, as well as having a personal destroyer for his Carribean cruises. If Perry had been full strength all season, our passing game would have been much improved and our offense more complete. In spite of injury and other problems, Perry caught five passes for 90 yards and rushed 9 times from the fullback spot for 34 yards (last two games) in six games. Defensively, he had 22 unassisted tackles and 7 assists with one interception. Lee Lind A good utility player, Lee was shuffled from spot to spot during the season when we needed someone to fill a posi- tion, and he did so eagerly and con- sistently. Lee found his starting position during the last half of the season at nose-guard. Keith Swainston A good blocker and potential receiver at the offensive tight end position but Keith’s real specialty was playing the defensive end spot and sacking quarterbacks with aggression. He was fourth in total team defense with 25 unassisted tackles, 23 assisted and one fumble recovery. He is the main reason teams avoid running at our ends. Matt Horton A very dedicated and enthusiastic team player. Matt played every single game in spite of injuries and was a source of en- thusiasm and desire for the whole team. A steady blocker at guard offensively and a stand-out defensively at the linebacker spot in spite of his size. Matt was third in team defense with 28 unassisted tackles and 34 assisted tackles. 2 fumble recoveries and one interception. Troy Latham An excellent team player and a good blocker. We looked for Troy’s side of the line at tackle all year for needed yar- dage. Defensively, other teams looked elsewhere when considering end-runs against our defense. At defensive end. Troy had 19 unassisted and 13 assisted tackles. Offensively, he punted 11 times for a 21.6 average, kicked off 7 times for a 36.9 average, and also scored a PAT in our last game. Jan McGee Hampered only by his lack of ex- perience. We were very fortunate to have Jan as a team member this year. He earned a starting position early at the tackle position on defense and in spite of mis-matches in size and weight, did an excellent job of shoring up the in- terior line. Fred Wallace Our team captian and an all league selection two years in a row, Fred pro- mised to be one of the top rushers ever for P.V. In the first five games he had a 100 yard plus per game average. Unfor- tunately, he was unable to play the following two games but still finished the season with 552 yards on 93 carries for a 5.9 per carry average in six games. First in punt return yardage, second in scoring and fifth in team defense, he recorded 23 unassisted and 14 assisted tackles and two interceptions. Our first-line kicker, he had 11 kick-offs for a 44.2 average and 24 punts for a 34.5 average. There is no doubt that our league season could have been much different with Fred and other starters on the field. Oil Field Roustabout Service W.H. WALLACE CONST. All Kinds of Dirt Work Cats, Blade. Bill was the guy to accept a new position and the responsibility of leadership when the situation arose. He was our most- outstanding all around player and was second in team offense and defense. Offensively, our leading receiver and scorer, Bill rushed 63 times for 417 yards, a 6.6 average, caught 13 passes for 316 Yards and 3 TD's and scored 42 points. From the defensive safety posi- tion, Bill had 31 unassisted and 26 assisted tackles and 2 interceptions. First in team stats in kick-off returns, he returned 15 for a 15.5 average. When we needed a job completed, we looked to Bill and were never disappointed.
