Keep savin' those pennies. , Robin Busio, will my rebound ability to Carol Nichols. , Darrell Carver, will my ability to make paper airplanes to future government students. , Janice Chapman, will my nickname to any first grader that thinks she can handle the embarrassment twelve years later. , Debby Davis, will my driving ability to anyone who wants to tour the D-J without getting out of his car. , Rich Fifield, will all my athletic talents along with the extra effort it takes to play and enjoy football to whoever has the will and obligation to play the game. And also I will all my empty film containers and cookie crumbs to next year's annual photographer. , Colette Fritz, will to Carrie my abilities to drive the wrong way on all the one way streets in Grand Junction. , Jerald Hawkins, will my ability to be the world’s greatest insulter to anyone that wants to be called rude, crude, and sociably unacceptable. , Linda Hollembeak, will my ability to sneeze differently than anyone else to Mr. Price. , Roxie Icke, will my spider killing ability to Mrs. Sanders. , J.J. Jordan, will my great basketball ability, worn out basketball shoes, sweaty clothes and other necessary stuff to Tim Everett. , Linda Jordan, will all my time and effort in practicing barrels to Londa Wells to help her become a great barrel racer. And all the luck in the world to Kim and Luann. , Andy Kelley, will my brand-new, solid-state, chromium-plated, fully illuminated, genuine accessory, explana- tory, dido-a-thing-ostat, to anyone who knows what it is. , Beth Lachniet, will my laugh to the senior class of 1978. , John Lyons, will my moustache curling ability to next year’s basketball team. , Phillip McCreanor, will my ability to sleep in class to Bobby Peden and my ability to fail speech to Anita Stites. , Janet Merwin, will my ability (or lack of it) to create poetry to Mrs. Sanders and all of her poetry students. , Debbie Pfertsh, will my crusty, old, stinky , green and white basketball socks to anybody who can stand to wear them. , Susan Phillips, will my locker number 114 to future underclassmen. , Carolyn Rich, will my library books to anyone who loves to read. , John Schafer, will my excellent driving ability (and my ability not to get caught) to Gary Shumway. , Marsha Spangler, will my cheerleading uniform, one pair of pom-poms and a sore throat to next year’s -hfifirleaders. , Roger Webb, will my excellent ability to keep out of fights with Fruita kids to Jim Estes, who likes to help friends in fights.

l7- ofefiscy jia.es Gdij±.6.s.ij 1 QSS As we look in on the class reunion of the seniors of 78, we see them stepping off the Enterprize onto Pluto. First off is captain Andy Kelley who led the seniors on their treacherous journey through the stars. Next off is Jerald Hawkins, co-pilot and C.B. specialist, followed by Beth Lachniet, his assistant, who assisted in the navi- gation through the dark skies. Various members of the class will provide the entertainment for the week. Debby Davis will ride Rocket, a horoughbred raised and trained by Tori Bevan, in the Galaxy Derby. Competing against her will be Darrell Jarver on his snowmobile, and Phillip McCreanor oh his Honda, on a course built by John Lyons, a track xpert. Materials were supplied by Robin Busio, who delivered them in her new 18-wheeler. The next event will e the Milky Way Stampede in which Roger Webb and Rich Fifield will ride bulls. Linda Jordan will barrel race, ving for her fastest time ever. Following these festivities, a banquet will be held. The dinner will be prepared by Mrs. Schramm and the even-course meal will be served by Mr. Lucas. On exhibition throughout the banquet will be paintings by Mar- ha Spangler. For after dinner entertainment, Colette Fritz will sing “Would You Like To Swing on a Star?’’ accompanied by ebbie Bunguardner on her guitar, music arranged by Susan Phillips. Those unable to attend are Debbie Pfertsh and J.J. Jordan, who will be playing a professional one-on-one asketball championship game. i Carolyn Rich and Roxie Icke will be taking care of all the childern of those attending. They are assisted by nda Hollembeak who is teaching a special typing class to the children and Janet Merwin who is teaching em creative rhymes. ' janice Chapman and John Schafer will be skiing in the Swiss Alps on the ski team. The next reunion is scheduled for 1998 in outer Mongolia, SEE YA THERE!!! 17
