5041 Sixty-five peppy Sophomores trotted up the stairs of dear old P.H.S. to Start the 54-55 school term off with a Bang! At first glance we recognized only one new face, Helen Mlnarik. To begin the fireworks we held our first class meeting and elected the following first semester officers President Bob Larson Vice President OrvalJohnson Secretary Treasurer Jackie Twiss and Newsreporter Jerry Loney The second explosion came with the High School Levi Hop sponored by us Mighty Sophies Everyone had a wonderful time and we certainly enjoyed sponsoring it During the year several members of our class have been given special honor to help old P H S get off to a good start for the year Jayne Tepner was chosen as a first team cheer leader and Ellen Thieman and Jackie Twiss as second team cheerleaders Ellen Thieman was elected Parlimentarian of F H A We chose Jayne Tepner and Alyce Schultze as our Sophomore representatives to the Student Council Alyce Schultze was our attendant to the Homecoming Queen Our sponsors were Miss Abts and Mr Goudge 1? ,Terry Loney Jackie Twtss Bob Larson and Orval Johnson
