“HPD? The P Club is composed of all those who have lettered in either football, basketball or -track. Its purpose is to promote better under- standing and cooperation 'between athletes, At the first P meeting new officers were elected, Melvyn Shoemaker was elected presi- dent. He was assisted by Lyle Ashburn, vice- president, and Gailyn Thomsen, secretary- treas- urer The first big job taken on by the Pirate lettermen was having a concession stand at the 'Class 'C District Tournament. All of the P Club members participated.
