SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION — Sealed — Merle Hayward, Elizabeth Eichelberger, Robert Whitley. Standing — Everett Van DeVoort, Jay Mr. William Polley resigned from the School Board this year after serving one of the longest terms on the board. His absence from the board after seventeen years was indeed, a change. Mr. Polley is employed os an advisor consultant for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is a Plainfield Volunteer Fireman. He contrib- uted to three building programs in the district: the building of Indian Trail School, Grand Prairie School, and District Offices and the High School Auditorium. As a board member, he stood for the basics in education and what was best for the students. The PLAINSMAN would like to take this space to thank him for his many years of dedication and hard work for the Plainfield School System. Mathias, Jerome Krupowicz, Donald Nier.
