Orchestra Pittston High has been one of the few fortunate schools in the valley to have a fine orchestra. During the past year our orchestra has attained high recognition for their outstanding work in the annual concert., assemblies, programs, and the commencement exercises. Through the able directorship of Mr. Edward Venzel and the cooperation of the orchestra members, another year was marked with success. Band The Pittston High School Band, rated as one of the finest in the state, has mer- ited many prizes in various contests throughout the year. Due to the purchase of new uniforms for the entire organization, Mr. Venzel's aggregation has proved one of the most colorful in the region, also.
