Seniors Graduated May 18 The seniors passed through the doors of PHS for the last time on May 18, 1969. Baccalaureate was in the afternoon at one o'clock, and the commence- ment was at eight o'clock in the evening, as it had been for the past two years. Reverend Yearick was the baccalaureate speaker, and Representative john T. Myers was speaker at the commencement. To finance the annual junior -Senior Prom held May 10, 1969 at Stouffer's Inn in Indianapolis, the junior class launched their magazine sales . The juniors topped all previous records in thejsales by prof- iting over S1, OOO . The leading salesmen were Rex McCullough, Barbara Morgan, and jamie Land. Rex and Jamie received a camera as rewards for their achieve- Bob Adams Marty Adams Rhonda Albright Shirley Baker Tommie Burkhart Jim Carlton Becky Dale Mitch Davis Bruce Dillon Cathy Dillon Gary Garrett Kaye Groover Donna Hicks David Hollis Ann- ments . The junior class was awarded a plaque and two bell -shaped paper weights as prizes for their accomplishment. The juniors directed sales at the concession stand during junior high and high school basketball games . Here they sold candy and soft drinlis for profit. They also earned a percentage of the proceeds from candy and ice cream machines at school. 7
